What’s really eco-friendly?
HOw should I start off an article for the newspaper how eco–friendly ain’t that friendly.. Actually they tend to harm the enviroment more than the usaal products…etc.
How do I concldue that eco–friendly ain’t that nice in my article in the newspaper
The Expert answers:
You could write about how at a recycling plant, so much energy is consumed and so much chemical waste is produced, all because liberal yuppies think they’re saving the environment by recycling.

Is there an eco-friendly option for metal spray painting, powder coating, sticker printing and adhesives?
we are using metal / SS / aluminum fabricated plates, bodies and also stickers for face of product. We are presently getting metal painted from a spray painter or powder coating shop. And the stickers are printed with normal printer and have adhesive at the back. We would like to switch over to a green option even if there is a little choice in colours and otherwise. It goes in industrial consumption so attractive color / finish isn’t that important
The Expert answers:
Most likely, what you are getting is the greenest option. Most likely your customers are more worried about rust and other bad things happening to the metal than they are about the green option. You may find some non-toxic adhesives that work as well as the toxic adhesives such as some rubber glues. Powder coating I have always lead to believe was more environmentally helpful than past ways of doing things.

Sewing machine, design and sizing.. (eco friendly)?
For a business plan project i’ve decided i’d like to include some recycled/organic cotton gloves.
I’d like to include designs on the top and maybe on the palm as well.
If i were to have a skull from day of the dead embroidered about the size of a hands palm… is the a sewing machine capable of doing that? or a company that is capable to do that with eco friendly ink? or that is capable of doing suck designs? (in eco friendly manner)
he project requires all my products and merchandising is environmentally conscious so if you ave any suggestion that would be great too.
The Expert answers:
Many sewing machines are capable of doing freestyle embroider and applique but it takes a lot of practice to achieve neat results. If a company produces designs in eco friendly materials the type of design you wanted wouldn’t make any difference. The designs will need putting on the fabric before the gloves are made up. If you are thinking of making up the gloves yourself a company that embroiders sweatshirts for clubs etc would be able to do your designs.

Is Willy Wonka environmentally / animal friendly?
I’m doing my best to only purchase eco and animal friendly products, and I was just wonderinf if Willy Wonka products were good for that in general.

His factory is extremely wasteful and inefficient, plus candy is just empty calories.

Eco-friendly makeup, si vous plait?
I am looking for eco–friendly makeup that is good. Like, really good. I want it to be green (no, not the color) but not have sacrificed how well it actually works. Not brands, but specific products would be helpful. When I say eco–friendly, I don’t mean the ones that say they’re eco–friendly, natural, etc. The real deal people. Like, high concentrations of plant-based and naturally-derived ingredients, and fewer to no parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, phthalates, petrochemicals, and synthetic fragrances or dyes would be fabulous.
My inspiration? It’s earth day people!!
Oh, and money isn’t really an issue. I know this stuff can be expensive.
Thanksamuch!
The Expert answers:
Have you tried going to Sephora? They have a brand called PlantLove from Cargo and they have no synthetic dyes, phthalates, petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances, colours, and their packaging is recyclable and made from corn. Sounds good to me 🙂
BareEscentuals bareminerals is eco-friendly I’m pretty sure (although I don’t think all their products are), and their foundation is really great! I definitely recommend it. Also their liner shadow is also really wonderful (but the application is a bit messy) and I would also recommend it! Both do not contain parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petro-chemicals or phthalates.
And the Sephora website also has a section for Natural and Organic products, you should check it out.
🙂
