we need a eco friendly name for a 100% natural soap company which will produce natural liquid soaps, bar soaps, shampoos, skin care products etc. all will be 100% natural and organic. we are looking for a eco friendly, green company name. can you help us. thanks
The Expert answers:
“ecogreensoap”
Pick a name that is available on the web, short, and easy to remember. If your company is not on the internet nowadays, it may as well not exist.
Make sure the .com, .org, and .net suffixes are available so you can glom onto them all at once.
For this name all the suffixes are available.
In case you want to go with some more unusual names, there is a brand name generator at:

Where can i find an eco-store in sacramento CA?
Eco–friendly products such as water and energy saving, among others
The Expert answers:
No such thing exists. There is no store that only sells those products. It is way too small a market and most of the products are scams or do not work well. A few do work very well though they are usually expensive. You can find tons of those types of products on the internet.
Lizzie asks…
What logo has to be on a product to show it is environmentally friendly, green or eco-friendly?
I am developing a product that will help reduce waste, particularly paper and I want to know what environmentally friendly company I should partner with to have a “seal of approval” on my product. Would the EPA be the best bet? Thanks!
The Expert answers:
There are a variety of labels some are regualated and others aren’t, there are also 3rd party certification. I’ll put a link to a sight that explains what the labels mean and who is responsible for the labels.

are revlon’s products any good?are they eco-friendly?does the company test on animals on a large scale?
The Expert answers:
Revlon does seem to be making a conscientious effort to reduce their impact on the environment and are considered fairly eco-friendly. They do not test on animals at all and were one of the first big companies to do stop. They have also been leaders in creating ways to test new products without animals. Benetton, Avon and Estee Lauder also have not tested on animals in over a decade.
For general goodness, I’ve always been satisfied with their products and find them to be a good value for the money.
