Lizzie asks…
Which state in the U.S is dealing with the most environmental issues?
I’m curious because I wanted to know which state is dealing with issues of the environment so I know where to get my intern and start searching for a job for a environmental science degree.
Anyone?
The Expert answers:
Maybe West Virginia. Years of strip mining have destroyed its mountains and created a lot of water pollution from the water runoffs.
Paul asks…
how to answer a tender regarding environmental issues?
i am preparing a bid for business, and the question i need to answer is “Please give an example of how you address environmental issues (i.e. Methodology of approach)” – can anyone help?
Thanks!
The Expert answers:
Well, you start off by identifying existing or potential issues, then you conduct studies and investigations to identify the type and quantity of issues that are present. Next you identify any harmful effects to people and the environment resulting from issues identified and propose ways to either eliminate or control these effects.
I know the answer is vague but so is the question. Could you provide any more details on your bid?

can someone help me in writing about Environmental issues?
Em, I am supposed to write a short story on the theme of Environmental issues and I’ve been thinking on specifically writing about pollution and the use of toxic wastes which can cause birth defects etc.
I would like if you could help me by giving me an idea of how my story-line (plot) can be, What can be the climax of my story?, how can i start?, what can be the resolution? etc.
I’d be very thankful for your help.

Good question,
I don’t have a good answer though, only a suggestion:
Instead of category GLOBAL WARMING, you may get better answers if you post the question under a different sub-category in yahoo answers…
Good luck

Donna asks…
Artists that focus on Environmental Issues?
Can anyone give me at least two artists who focus on environmental issues, and some links to their work please? Need to be relatively famous artists, not just a local talent etc.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I needed artists, as in, people who create artworks. (Picasso etc)
The Expert answers:
Try Andy Goldsworthy.

or Robert Smithson, who did Spiral Jetty, one of the most famous earthworks

I’m not sure, but maybe Cristo and Jean Claude?

p.s. It looks like Wendy’s link does list artists. Artists do not have to only use one medium (i.e. Painting).
