Carol asks…
Is it possible to find cleaning products, shampoo, body soap, etc that are both eco friendly and cruelty free?
After becoming vegan it has become important to know how my products are tested and buy only products that are cruelty free. But I have noticed that some cruelty free products are not eco friendly. Is it possible to have both?
After reading Logan’s answer I guess I should have requested that douchebags need not waste his or her time. Thanks.
The Expert answers:
Anything that says “organic” should be good. The brand “Jason” is good. They sell in bulk on Amazon for a cheaper price. For cleaning products, try Seventh Generation. They make cleaning products, paper towels, toilet paper, and other things. You can also try making your own. I do this a lot for cleaning products. Just google what you want to find, like “dish detergent recipe” and make sure the recipe is something you feel you can do and the ingredients won’t harm the environment.
Hope that helps!! 🙂

What are some eco-friendly cleaning products I can use?
and where can I find them?
The Expert answers:
White vinegar!!!!
Borax, baking soda, ammonia….
How to use them – check out (book store or library) the Queen of Clean.
They are cheap and available at Walmart.
Vinegar will polish and kill germs / smells/ and mold.
Borax whitens without bleach – also good for toilets….
Coke (the soda) will cut lime and rust……
