What is Canada’s role in sustainable development projects?
I need to study for my Biology test (grade 12) and I can’t seem to find this information anywhere.
If someone could give me a link or something helpful, that would be great.
Thank you!
The Expert answers:
You would have to be more specific, sustainable development of what? In an energy sense, Canada pursues many alternative energy techniques (for example wind farms and solar energy). The best way would probably be to talk about government incentives on sustainable projects. You would have to research them, but the Canadian government provides subsidies and tax breaks on sustainable powered homes, cars, business, etc.
Hope this helps.

What is an example of a country with sustainable development?

The Expert answers:
Every country has some and actually alot of problems even america, high debt. Canada has a really volatile economy it is over dependent on natural resouces. China is over dependent upon america for jobs.
The best country economically is ameria though. No country has sustainable development. See you don’t know if your economy is sustainable until it is proven unsustainable. A sustainable economy means forever so to prove an economy sustainable you would have to be able to see into the future. For example, 5 years ago iceland might look like a sustainbl economy but now it is bursting into riots never seen before. One might the USSR and soviet union communism wa a sustaible system, that is until it collapsed in the 1989. So no system can be proven unsustainable until it collapses.
Thats what I’d say, you don’t have to agree with a question, you can disagree and provide evidence that no country has ever proven to have a sustainble development system because they all have collapsed historically. They are created by man after all and therefore are flawed because man is not perfect.
