Your Questions About Green Living

Lizzie asks…

Do you agree that our political correct society has thwarted progress?

Obama thinks NASA should be a tool of muslim outreach. NASA hasn’t done anything useful in a long time. It’s a politically correct , affirmative actions cesspool of liberal hate.

All liberals think that inventing, progressing, and advancing in terms of technology is bad, because it pollutes and is unfair to minorities.

Liberal lawyers have sued so many companies and people, no one wants to risk or invent in America anymore.

If you think i am exaggerating, or full of shyt, look at your appliances in your home. Stove, dishwasher, Car, vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, everything. It has not improved in 30 or 50 years. In 1990, my car got 48 miles per gallon – same as a so-called “hybrid”. In 1960, my grandmother’s washing machine cleaned better than today’s ecofriendly piece of shyt washing machines that use 2 ounces of water and leave your clothes covered with bacteria.
Unbeliveable.
Do you agree or not
yes, we’ve advanced a lot with computers and video games and Google. But i would remind you that those things do not amount to progress.
They are the media of today.
It should be a small part of progress, but it’s 100% of progress. It would be like the 20th century being defined by TV and radio and nothing else. Still riding horses and using stone tools

The Expert answers:

Yes. Until we can tell the truth without fear it will continue as such.

PCness is just a polite term for a flat out lie.

William asks…

What am I?(this is not to long)?

okay so i keep being told im an hipster but when i looked it up its says there rude n mean but im nice to everyone even the ppl i cant stand. so i asked the ppl why they think im hipster and its because i got my own style with wearing colorful clothes, fake glasses, i wear converses almost everyday, i love art, and that i take photos a lot, also this one is odd but that i wear a toe ring as a pinky ring cause i want to haha n also some of the clothes pics on tumblr i wear stuff similar. idk if this is important but im very eco friendly n i dont do drugs nor drink.

The Expert answers:

Labels mean nothing. They are trying to describe you, so they have picked a label they think fits. Next time them no, but you are eccentric.

John asks…

On a personal level what else could I do to lower my carbon footprint?

1. I’m a vegan (no meat; dairy; egg; honey; gelatin. Anything from an animal).
2. I don’t drive.
3. I try not to catch public transport but walk instead.
4. I try not to eat planet damaging grains (like soy and rice) as much as possible.
5. I shop at local stores.
6. I wash all my clothes in cold water.
7. I turn off all appliances at the power point when I’m not using them.
8. I only use “eco friendly” cleaning products.

What else could I do?

THANKS!
9. I recycle as much as possible.
I don’t use the AC or heater.
That’s what jumpers are for.
I can’t go solar I live in units.

The Expert answers:

-Get solar panels so you can power your appliances when you use them (especially if your power currently comes from a fossil fuel plant).
-Grow your own produce since the trucks/freight lines and refrigeration units use up power and the emissions from the freight transport are harmful.
-Own clothes/towels/sheets/cloth-items from eco-friendly materials.
-Have furniture and clothing items from recycled products (like the Timberland boots made from recycled products that are currently being advertised- see link).

Good luck, this kind of lifestyle is so admirable!

Donald asks…

Is this a good Christmas list?

I was wondering if this is a good Christmas list. Keep in mind, my parents told me if I got good grades my first quarter I would get most of the stuff thats on my list (i have a 4.0 gpa), and money isn’t really that big of an issue either, hence some of the things on my list.

1. new macbook (the ecofriendly one)
2. blackberry bold
3. 2010 jeep grand cherokee or a audi A4 (i need a new car really badly)
4. DVR in my room
5. new clothes
6. for my credit card to work again

and thats it I guess. does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should change or add??? or what you like? or even what you want? all answers are appreciated 🙂

The Expert answers:

You know alot of people are not having a Christmas this year. That list seems way to far expensive to ask for your parents. What do you actually need? How about Clothes, new pairs of shoes? Something that helps you with good grades ?
