Eco-friendly projects?
I need some ideas for eco–friendly projects.
Meaning, ALL of the products used are biodegradable.
If you have links to some ideas, please post them.
If you know some projects off the top of your head, please share them.
I can use store-bought products, or stuff from outside.
Where I live, there’s a forest and lake, so you have an idea of some stuff I can use.
The Expert answers:
If you have ducks on the lake you could throw your stale bread to them and take good close ups – pine cone sculptures coloured with natural food dyes tied with hessian string or raffia- Paintings in natural food dyes on recycled cotton e.g mans handkerchief – that you leave out in the open and photograph every day to see it changing – planting seeds in an abstract pattern photograph them as they grow. You can do this in a large container and mask off the planting bits with cardboard so you get swathes of difference use dense cover plants like allysum

How can powerless, normal people help fight against global warming ?
Lately,I have invested a lot of thoughts on global warming issues. I’m equaly concerned, but i just don’t know whether I can give any significant support.
For instance, normal citizens like me cannot afford a hybrid car. I would be indebted to save the world..
Furthermore, i wish I could buy all the eco–friendly products in the shops, but they are also priced higher for average people’s budget.
Is it wrong to think that the bigger responsibility should start with the world leaders and corprorations? We normal citizens buy what we get. i say why can’t govts ban any environmentally hazardous consumation? But wait, I know that this could cripple many economies and plummet unemployment, and it’s not everybody who can produce cost effectively for eco–friendly products. Of course, money plays a role here, and who’s willing to invest more cash in R&D.
But until the big powers step up, I’m sorry i can”t be much help. Anybody out there who shares my view point ?
Or if anybody think otherwise, enlighten me…
The Expert answers:
The same way that powerless, normal people “created”it.

CLEANING PRODUCTS GIVE ME A HEADACHE.?
Smells give ne migraines, so i’m looking for a multi purpose cleaning spray that doesn’t smell.
Lots of people recommend eco friendly products, but some of these still smell.
Can anyone suggest anything that will clean my kitchen surfaces (even if i have been cutting chicken on it), but won’t give me a headache.
The Expert answers:
None of the above!
I sell Enjo cleaning fibres, (no I am not trying to sell to you) but we clean with water!
Natural air has no smell, you don’t need a smell for a surface to be clean. As long as the surface dries out after you have wiped it down – no bacteria can live without moisture or a food source. Wipe down surfaces with water, then dry off with a towel.
The chemicals we are told to use through the media are not necessary and are dangerous, society today has been led to believe that you need chemicals to clean your home – rubbish!
Professional cleaners use Enjo fibres, people with sensitive skin, asthma, allergies, cancer sufferers switch over and people with young children, those who care for our environment (oceans & waterways) – everyone has a reason to stop using chemicals, they just don’t know how to!
Have a look at the Enjo web site.

Where can I find eco-friendly plastic package alternatives?
I am looking to sell a product and would prefer to package it in something other than plastic.
The Expert answers:
Depending on what you want to package, visit a recycling center for your materials. For FREE!
Our local winery visits our recycling center regularly in search of discarded bottles to take home, clean, and re-use. Nobody charges him, and as far as they’re concerned it makes a lighter load for them to ship off. Same goes there for anyone who comes in to request materials.
